Terms of Service
Effective date: 16 October 2026
These Terms govern use of DocuHook at https://docuhook.com, operated by Rustemas Gafurovas (Individual Activity) — individual activity (Individuali veikla), Certificate of Individual Activity No. 966482, Lithuania. By creating an account or using the API you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
DocuHook merges JSON data into HTML templates and helps you produce PDF-ready output via a sandbox and API. Features, plan limits, and pricing on /plans may change; we will try to give reasonable notice for material paid-plan changes.
2. Accounts and API keys
- You must provide a valid email and keep credentials secret.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys.
- You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use DocuHook to:
- Violate law, third-party rights, or privacy obligations
- Send malware, phishing content, or abusive traffic
- Attempt unauthorized access, overload, or disrupt the service
- Resell raw access in a way that circumvents plan limits without our written consent
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of data and templates you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the service. You represent that you have the rights and lawful basis to submit it, including any personal data of third parties.
5. Plans and billing
Free and paid plans include monthly render limits as described on the Plans page. Paid subscriptions are billed via Stripe. Taxes may apply. You can manage billing through the Stripe customer portal where available. Fees already charged for a billing period are generally non-refundable except where required by law (including mandatory consumer withdrawal rights where they apply).
6. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The sandbox and API are provided “as is” within the limits of applicable mandatory law. Support channels depend on your plan.
7. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period (or €50 if you are on a free plan), except where liability cannot be limited (e.g. wilful misconduct or mandatory consumer protections).
8. Termination
You may stop using DocuHook and delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may terminate or suspend access for breach, non-payment, or to protect the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including liability limits and IP) will survive termination.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Lithuania have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer venue rights if you qualify as a consumer.
